"Dog SmellPotion Lotion"

The night before last I had an odd dream. I very clearly saw a bottle on a table with a black and white label. This stuff was called "Dog Smell". I was curious about it and almost opened the bottle wondering if it was going to be a nice smell to put on dogs or a disgusting dog smell.  Unfortunately or fortunately, my dream changed or I woke up before I found out. Perhaps it was somehow inspired by watching Super Chicken which my musician friend Tom P. from The Spin Glo's lent me the other day.

I am excited to announce that my Pet Parade, Port Townsend, illustration will be included in the 2nd Annual Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) exhibit at the Washington State Historical Museum in Tacoma, Washington.
